Initiation
Initiation
To help organisations to onboard to the shared care record, please find project plans created by Interweave which details all the assurance activities required. Whilst it is not mandatory for organisations to use these plans, we recommend doing so to ensure an awareness of the tasks to implement a provision or consumption project.
Project timescales
Interweave are suggesting the following timescales for delivery of provision and consumption projects – data was extracted from our project tracker for when projects started and finished, and an average given. These suggested timescales where then ratified with our stakeholders to ensure they seemed reasonable and achievable.
Provision
- Following completion of the standard assurance activities – Information Governance, Technical and Cyber Assurance we would expect the provision of a resource to move from Sandpit to Production in 4 weeks.
Consumption
- A standard consumption project i.e.. known context launch, standalone portal once approved at Gate 1 should take 12 weeks to reach business go live.
Project tolerances
To ensure projects are delivered within a reasonable timeframe, Interweave will be monitoring all projects ensuring any sub tasks that have been assigned to Interweave are completed within 10 working days. For any activities that fall outside of this agreed tolerance will be escalated at Interweave weekly team meeting.
Similarly, for any organisations that are not delivering their activities in the agreed timescale – as approved in the project initiation document, this will be escalated via the relevant ICB governance board, unless agreement has been reached with the organisation and Interweave to delay delivery.
These documents will help you in your initial stages of working with us. Files can be downloaded by clicking the individual links below.
