The first GP practice has now gone live with EMIS contextual launch functionality allowing better access to regional Shared Care Records. On the 30^th July 2024, Bridge Street Practice in North Lincolnshire added this functionality for their clinicians to access the Shared Care Record at the click of a button.

Locala Health and Wellbeing became the first Community Health Service within West Yorkshire to connect to the Yorkshire and Humber Care record to view patient data.

Sharing and growing the use of our shared records is building the usability and functionality of our technology. City Health Care Partnership (CHCP) was originally unable to view necessary patient information, in relation to patient movements in and out of Secondary Care.

Our Yorkshire & Humber Care Record (YHCR) has been awarded Highly Commended in the Digital Clinical Safety Award category at the prestigious Health Service Journal (HSJ) Digital Awards 2024.

The patient perspective of our Shared Care Record is vitally important to how we understand the benefits it presents. At the recent Shared Care Record Summit, we learned how technology is improving the way we support the wider healthcare system, and tapping into patient experience is vital in underpinning this understanding.

The 2nd Annual Shared Care Record Summit brought together hundreds of Health and Social Care professionals to showcase national, regional, and local progress in sharing information through a healthcare setting. The event ran over 16 & 17 April and was held at the ICC in Birmingham.
