Additionally, there are some internal fixes around the new permissions model
We are building a new API Framework for Connect which will standardise future API integrations. This work is extensive and will span several sprints. There is no release this sprint

S-80 – GP Connect improved error message for unknown GP Practices
E-246 – TPP have changed their specifications, and so now rather than 10 separate documents being returned for “Non GP Connect”, they will all be returned in one big batch, so code has been written to split the documents up and return 10 separate documents as before thereby not impacting the user experience in consuming systems (eg Portal).
S-68 Secure Grafana and Promethous endpoints
E-195 – Revamp Console Permissions
S-71 – Error logging – enhanced searching and filtering
E-207 – FHIR Queries to Sandpit and Staging
P-228 – Collection of data history and coverage for Provider resources
This is a major release for the Console with several significant updates:
New permissions system
A new, more granular, permissions system for Console is being implemented. This makes it possible to grant permissions more accurately. Previously there was only either a basic end-user access or else full system access – whereas now there is a more flexible approach based on both granular permissions and also organisation(s) selection. This means, for example, that now “read only” access can be granted to view configuration details about all organisations in a region, but NOT to update or access other “administrator” aspects of the system.
New FHIR Query screen
A new screen has been added to allow direct FHIR Queries in the Sandpit and Staging environments (NOT Production). This can be used to query the data directly – allowing more technical users to perform their own behind-the-scenes investigations and diagnosis based on the raw data. Whilst this is a relatively technical screen, it does also provide a “query builder” tool – allowing users unfamiliar with FHIR to get started more easily. Users have, to date, needed to use Postman to achieve the same outcome
New PIX Errors screen
This screen allows a consolidated summary of outstanding PIX registration errors to be viewed and/or downloaded. Typically these will be data quality mismatches with PDS. The new screen thus provides better visibility of these issues to assist Data Providers with data quality follow up. (This screen is already on the menus but was disabled – it is now fully reinstated)
Improved Error Monitoring
Only relevant to Interweave internal support staff, but the error monitoring screen has been significantly enhanced – making it easier to filter and search for relevant errors
Migration Considerations
As previously communicated, this is a major update and downtime of the Interweave Console is proposed from 10am on Thursday 26th until 9am on Monday 30th Jan. This will not affect usage of the main Exchange and Portal systems, but only the ability to make configuration changes using the Console. However if this impacts your plans please get in touch asap so that we can consider any necessary workarounds.
The migration includes moving all existing user accounts over to the new permissions model. This is not possible to entirely automate – as some judgement is involved in deciding who really needs which permissions in the more granular model. Whilst we will do this as carefully as possible, if you feel you have lost access to something you need please get in touch so that we can rapidly investigate and rectify.

There are no functional changes to Exchange in this release, although there are significant infrastructure enhancements including:
Security patching – application of latest security patches and upgrades to all Exchange components
Audit partitioning – partitioning of the audit tables into monthly partitions, for better management of this large database
A new version of the “Intersystems” Connect appliance is available to install
This adds new features to better support Data Retention handling – most significantly adding the ability to configure an “expiry” period after which soft-deleted FHIR Resources will be permanently hard-deleted.
There is no change to the “Docker” Connect appliance in this release
Work on similar Data Retention enhancements is currently in progress and will be announced separately as part of a future release
FHIR Fix
FHIR Fix is the standalone add-on to Interweave Connect which allows jobs to be scheduled and existing data to be amended. This release adds the ability to configure deletions – specifically to allow a retention policy to be configured so that data can be automatically “soft deleted” according to locally defined criteria.
Full documentation can be found at: GitHub – yorkshire-and-humber-care-record/fhir-fix: Utility for FHIR data fixing and manipulation
No Change in this release
Note however that an interim Console release is anticipated prior to the next full Release 44. Further details to follow shortly

Fixes
This is a bug fix release, incorporating the following
Fixes
An internal bug relating to count timeouts on large data sets. This has resulted in work to optimise FHIR queries and ensure resource counts match the values in PIX
YHCLOUD-1519: Change ODS importer to support Interweave profiles
The ODS Importer has been amended to support the new Exchange Organisation FHIR Profiles. Identified as a result of Airedale GAP analysis.
ICROB-808: Enable PIX Validations for York
PIX validation, initially turned off to enable bulk data loading, has now been restored for York
Since R4B, HL7 no longer serve STU3 codesystems via the web, we are now able to load from a package maintained by them instead
YS-31: Ensure GP Connect cache purged
Clearing cache data to save disk space
This release is a combination of sprints 39 and 40, and contains the following:
R-39
P-141: Ability to notify users of system events/updates – Tenant and global level notifications to users. This was requested via the ideas portal and a brief user guide has been created.
P-214: Participant data display in Appointments – updates to v2 summary appointments panel to conform to data standards
R-40
P-225: Changed behaviour for Flags (& EoL indicator) – Flags and EoL indicators on the alerts bar had inconsistent behaviour, this brings them into alignment so they don’t show if there isn’t any flags or EoL care plans and have a red count badge to indicate how many items there are when they do show.
P-222: Allergies indicator on alerts bar – Add an additional allergies indicator on the alerts bar, make consistent with P-225

Fixes
Diagnostic Report documents – enable the ability to return a document attachment (eg PDF) as part of a Diagnostic Report
The console now supports the addition of organisations that are neither Data Providers nor Data Consumers. This is useful (i) to allow these organisations to be configured to use GP Connect via the Portal and (ii) so that these organisation may have contacts added to them to be included in release and update notifications.
In addition, several fixes and internal enhancements have also been applied including:
P-197: App bar – Moving the top part of left hand menu (patient & quick search, externals links to youtube, and logout functions) from the left hand menu to a new app bar at the top of the page. Also moved is the Providers filter and access to error messages. See guide here Portal App bar Sept 2022

Allow TPP context launches to use multiple different email domains for user email verification, rather than the single nhs.net domain currently used. Idea logged as https://interweave-portal.ideas.aha.io/ideas/P-I-60
P-193 – Admin able to upload CSV to bulk create users
Allow Tenant Admins and Superusers to bulk upload users from a CSV file from the admin portal.
